Watching the stars from my backyard
Просмотров 67Год назад
Surrounded by trees and houses I can only see a small part of the sky from my backyard. Despite the lightpollution in the area where I live (and my neighbours outdoor lights) yesterday still part of the Milky Way was visible, and in the second half of the video you can see the Andromeda Galaxy entering on the left side of the screen.
Perseids meteor shower 2023 two nights before peak.

It was said to be clouded on August 13th, so I took photos two nights before the peak of the Perseids meteor shower, between 00:00 and 01:20 on august 11th 2023 52°N 5°43'E. It was very humid, not 100% clear... You see the Pleiades rising, followed by Jupiter and the Moon. I saw 2 meteors: a large one, and a super long one shooting through half of the sky over my head. But on the footage just s...

He seems to use the 'sunny 8' rule.
That was very lovely. Thank you.
Thank You for making and posting this video.
Excellent video. I'm going to start saving money and buy a Rolliecord.
Excellent
Thank you for the beautiful explanation of this camera by your Father. I was very touched by how he saved up the money to buy the camera.
Heel bijzonder!❤
Wauw....mooi!❤

Prachtig!
...un peu de pédale , s'il vous plaît ..😢 surtout dans ce genre de répertoire ..
I bought a used camera like this recently,I have the film now too. Thanks for having this video, I need to start experimenting with taking photos.
My dad was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. I think he bought his Rollei in 1955. Today, my 19 year old daughter said she would like to learn to use it. I was finally going to sell it but glad someone in the family has an interest.
wow that was very delightful to watch the love and care your dad pu in this camera <3 I would love to see some photos if possible! Thanks
Thanks! I'll try this recipe!❤
That Rollei is not from the 1950's. It's clearly marked "DRP" (Deutsches Reichspatent) and "DRGM" (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster). So, it was manufactured before 1945.
I have a Rolleicord that I haven't used for a few years. This tutorial really helped me on how to load the film and know the controls once again. You have a wonderful father. Please keep this video on your channel. It's truly a treasure.
Is this for sale?
Thank you Rens! i bought my first rolleicord and you made the process simple and easy to understand. I appreciate you & God speed my friend.
I still have a Rolleicord which is fully functional (along with a few Rolleiflexes). It's my favorite lightweight camera for shooting 6x6 (sorry, not a big fan of folding cameras). Definitely simpler/less-feature than the Flexes, but nevertheless is equally great performer.
Hi there would you mind if i use your animation for a fun like thing im workin on just need a trippy pattern
Thank you for asking. However, I'm sorry, but I do NOT give permission to use my content.
Understandable thank you for the quick response :D@@StudioEsther
I’ve just been given an identical Rolleicord that once belonged to my uncle, by my cousin since she knew I’m into photography. I have photos of me and my siblings taken with this camera when we were kids. Thanks for recording your dad showing the rest of us how to use such a camera. I learnt a lot today. Thanks again
God that's beautiful.. me and my brother stayed up to watch it but couldn't see anything went back disappointed..but it's good to see other's getting it to see it this is awesome!!
I am sure that the son or daughter must have watched this film several times. I bought a similar camera second-hand about 20 years ago. I wish I had seen this film much sooner because this guy has given me much more of an insight into how to operate my camera. I have taken thousands of digital images but with the help of this chap, I am hoping to have a go with films. I shot a film in a Pentax 645 and am awaiting the results. Thanks for this. Alan.
Thank you for sharing! Helpful & priceless.
Aj Esther, ik ben zó trots op jou❤
Good video. I have just bought a Rolleicord today. The video was very useful, all you need to know in less than 7 minutes.
i just bought a rolleicord from a repair guy today, and this video has been significantly more helpful than any other modern "production" tutorial. he just jumps right in, explaining everything he does, and its WAY more helpful.
I savored the whole video. What a delightful man. Thank you so much.
❤
very informative. I have a rolleicord III , too! almost forgot how to use it.

Delightful was the first word that came to my mind, too, as Nick Bennett mentioned - your father is/was delightful and gave a clear and concise intro to this camera, one of which I just purchased. Thank you!
Wonderful
Wonderful result. I used Helicon Focus ~ 10 yrs ago to stack images of a fly. I also made microtome slides of said creature. I was hoping to put an entry into the Nikon microscopic world of a fly through a fly. I was going to stack the slide sections but my slide adhesion had a high failure rate so was intermittent but now you could image each section on a microtome cut.
Never seen a sand pendulum, or double pendulum before, what a pure science result. Beautiful and simple.
